New packaging and store signage developed for the Canadian chocolate chain Laura Secord’s summer season. A new look and feel were established chain-wide to invigorate the Laura Secord brand. The new packaging was recently featured on TheDieline.com, the world’s most visited website dedicated to package design.

The Yew Tree
The Yew Tree is a downtown London based boutique spa. I was contracted earlier this year to photograph the interior of the spa for promotional and identity purposes. The tool’s purpose is to give the sales team a paperless, updateable resource for presentations that would outline visual possibilities and inspire clients. Geromino Typeface
Custom headline typeface developed for a personal project to be released in 2011. Design influenced by provincial park signage, lazy summers and lousy lakes (with too many rocks at the bottom).

Vintage Drum Restoration
I found an old beat up mid 60s Stewart drum kit online and decided to make a project out of it. Aesthetically, the kit was in fairly rough shape, but the bare bones were good. I disassembled everything down to the last nut, bolt and bracket. The hardware and lugs were polished and the shells stripped down to bare wood. I wanted the drums to look more like a piece of furniture than a sparkly set of drums.

A Couple of Squares Inc. is a Canadian-owned and operated 8,500 square foot bakery specializing in retail and wholesale cookie gifts. A line of packaging was designed for a family of 5 products to be sold in Chapters/Indigo Stores across Canada. The aim of the new packaging was to be fun, bright and geared towards younger kids (and anyone who likes cookies).
